Meshkob - automated water refueling system

Meshkob is an innovative water supply automation system designed for remote regions without access to central water pipelines. The project aims to solve the problem of water access in rural and remote areas, providing a convenient and reliable way to order and deliver water without the need for operators.

I was responsible for developing the backend of the system, using Django REST Framework to create highly efficient APIs and PostgreSQL for reliable data storage. My main contributions included:

  • Development of REST API for managing users, orders, payments, and logistics, allowing the integration of CRM and the mobile application for system interaction.
  • Virtual account and automatic payment processing: Users of the system can top up their virtual accounts and automatically pay for water supply services. I implemented a balance monitoring system that automatically deducts funds upon completion of each refill, making the payment process simple and convenient.
  • Monitoring and control: The system also provides functionality for automatic tracking of water usage and equipment status at each water station. This allows both users and administrators to view real-time data, including the amount of water used and tank levels.
  • IoT device integration for automating water station management. Users can remotely control refills and monitor station operations via the mobile app or CRM.
  • Database optimization: PostgreSQL was configured for efficient handling of large amounts of data, improving query processing and order management speed.
  • Data security: Authentication, authorization, and data encryption mechanisms were implemented to protect users' personal information and financial transactions.

The Meshkob project ensures reliable water supply for remote areas by automating key processes such as water ordering, payment, and equipment monitoring. The system is designed with a focus on convenience, security, and automation, allowing users to minimize involvement in the water supply process and trust the system to handle all tasks.
